Question 1

Is Agreement Risk Scanner completely free, and does it require an account?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 100% free with no account creation, credit cards, or hidden paywalls. You can scan unlimited loan agreements and download full PDF risk reports.

Question 2

Are my uploaded contracts or sanction letters stored on your servers?

Accepted Answer

Never. Document parsing occurs client-side in your local browser memory, and deterministic rule evaluation is ephemeral. No files or text are stored in any database.

Question 3

What specific red flags and predatory clauses does the scanner detect?

Accepted Answer

Our engine screens for acceleration triggers, confession of judgment waivers, repossession consent without notice, GPS starter-interrupt devices, personal guarantees, and predatory flat interest rules.

Question 4

Can I scan loan sanction letters and bank approval documents?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have a dedicated Sanction Letter Scanner & Verification Tool that audits benchmark spreads, title conditions, non-refundable processing fees, and sanction letter validity windows.

Question 5

How does the scanner identify hidden charges and calculate true APR?

Accepted Answer

Our Hidden Charges Checker detects upfront processing deductions, documentation charges, and insurance bundling to compute your True Effective Annual Percentage Rate (APR).

Question 6

Are floating rate loans subject to prepayment or foreclosure penalties?

Accepted Answer

Under statutory consumer lending rules, floating rate consumer and home loans cannot be subjected to prepayment or foreclosure penalties. Our scanner automatically alerts you if an illegal penalty clause is detected.

Question 7

What file formats, page limits, and languages are supported?

Accepted Answer

We support digital PDF, DOCX, and TXT files up to 12 MB and 25 pages, as well as direct text paste. Digital PDFs with selectable text analyze instantly.

Question 8

Can I compare multiple bank offers or sanction letters?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Use our Loan Offer Comparison Tool to compare two lender proposals side-by-side, evaluating net in-hand disbursement, monthly EMI, and total lifetime interest.

Question 9

Does the generated PDF risk report replace legal counsel from an attorney?

Accepted Answer

No. Agreement Risk Scanner is an educational screening utility. High-stakes contracts should always be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

Question 10

How does the Risk Severity rating work, and what should I do with findings?

Accepted Answer

Findings are categorized into High Attention, Review Carefully, and Informational tiers. Each includes verbatim quotes and suggested negotiation questions to address with your lender before signing.
